“What eye has
not seen, and
ear has not
heard, and has
not entered into
the heart of
man, [all that]
God has prepared
(made and keeps
ready) for those
who love Him
(who hold Him in
affectionate
reverence,
promptly obeying
Him and
gratefully
recognizing the
benefits He has
bestowed)” I
Corinthians 2:9
I tried to
realize all the
beauty
I’d
ever seen and
heard all the
wonderful
emotions I’d
ever felt and
they don’t even
come close to
what God has
prepared for me!
Heaven is beyond
human
comprehension,
pearl gates,
golden streets,
angels singing
and playing,
peace, joy and
love. Just like
the line from
that song: “We
will dance on
the streets that
are golden, the
glorious bride
and the great
Son of Man”.
Our God is truly
an awesome God;
His creation is
beyond words.
For this, I am
thankful
November 24, 2001
About a month
ago, I traveled
by airplane; I'd
like to share my
journal entry
reflecting my
flight from
Minneapolis, MN
to St. Louis,
MO.
I boarded the
plane and the
sky was still
dark - the
ground was dark
too. After we
take off I could
only see lights
on the ground,
nothing else.
Shortly after,
the horizon
started to get a
stripe of color
and I realized
I
was looking
east. The colors
were red and
orange at first,
changing to
orange and
yellow, the sky
got bluer as the
colors got more
intense. Like a
fire below the
surface, the
rays/flames were
shooting and
reaching up.
Now, the ground
is visible. I
can see the
twists and turns
of the rivers
and streams
below. The land
looks like a
scrambled
patchwork. The
sun bright
orange and
burning
intensely peaks
above the
horizon. God,
the world You
created for us
is totally
awesome!
Once the sun
peaks, it seemed
to rise quickly,
and is almost
half showing now
Good Morning!
It’s up, fully
up, in all its
splendor! WOW!
The horizon
still has
stripes of misty
color, but like
fog it’s
disappearing.
The sun is level
with me at this
point - yet it’s
just barely off
the horizon.
It’s so bright I
can’t see to
write after
looking at it!
I can see
buildings on the
ground now
everything is
getting lighter.
So this is a
“bird’s eye
view”. How it
feels to soar
and fly like an
eagle! WOW!
TOTALLY AWESOME!
Thank You God!
I’ve been
blessed and
given favor yet
again! You’re
too cool!
Now we’re lower
and I can see
the mist coming
off the water
below. Like
fluffy, swirls,
misty cords,
tunnels of
clouds along the
river and
streams.
